Why We Exist

We built the audience. Then we built the studio.

Baithead Studios is over a decade of cultural fluency, made available to brands who refuse to be ignored.

Edmonton · North London · 2016

It started as a meme page.

On 27 April 2016, London Baithead was born in Edmonton, North London. Not in a studio. Not in an office. In a place we weren't meant to be. A meme page. Reshared clips. Funny videos. Internet stuff. The audience grew because the timing was right and the taste was sharper than the rest of the noise.

For nearly a decade, we did what most pages did. Watched the feed. Reposted the best of it. Built a following on the back of other people's work.

Then in 2025, we deleted it all.

The 2025 rebrand

The algorithm changed.
We changed with it.

Reposting other people's content stopped working. The algorithm stopped rewarding it. The brand identity was thinning out. Every page in the feed was reposting the same five clips. Nobody could tell anyone apart.

So we wiped the slate. Deleted the old content. Rebuilt the page around original work only. Our cameras. Our footage. Our voice. Everything we publish from that day forward, made by us.

That decision is the reason London Baithead grew faster in the year after the rebrand than in any year before it. The audience could finally tell what we stood for, because the work was finally ours.

The platforms reward authenticity now.
We made sure ours was the real thing.
The studio behind the studio

Meanwhile, behind the scenes.

While London Baithead was growing, something else was running quietly in parallel. A photography practice that started in 2017. Restaurants. Football. Gym. Lifestyle. Documenting the same culture the page was reflecting, with a camera in hand instead of a screenshot tool.

That work had a different name back then. If you know, you know.

Years of shoots. The kind of practice you can't fake or fast-track. By the time we were ready, the studio had already been quietly rehearsing for nearly a decade. It just didn't have a name yet.

Why the studio exists

Because we already learned the lesson.
Now we're teaching it.

Ten years of running a platform taught us things no marketing textbook covers. Consistency is the only growth strategy that actually compounds. Adaptability is what separates the brands that survive from the ones that don't. Resilience is the cost of admission.

We learned that audiences spot brand-paid content in seconds, and lose trust in a page faster than the page can earn it back. We learned that one wrong post can undo six months of right ones. We learned that the algorithm doesn't reward effort. It rewards taste.

The playbooks most agencies use are out of date. Ours is being written every day. Because we ran the experiment ourselves, on our own audience, for over ten years. Now we run it for the brands smart enough to ask.

The lesson cost us 10 years.
You get the answer in twenty minutes.

What we believe comes next

Brands that don't adapt
become the old-timers.

Every culture has them. The names you mention when you're talking about how things used to be. "Remember when…" The brands and faces that were everywhere, and then suddenly weren't. They didn't fail because the work was bad. They failed because the work stopped landing.

The brands that propel forward are the ones that stretch back first. They study the moment. They feel the shift. They take off like a slingshot, while everyone else is still asking what changed.

The brands the audience will be talking about in ten years are the ones moving now. Quietly, deliberately, on purpose.

Some brands are still writing the story.
Others are still telling stories about the good old days.
How we work

A studio of twenty-four.
A network of thousands.

The team is twenty-four people across the UK, USA, Germany, Netherlands, Türkiye, Brazil, Japan, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ghana. We work remotely. The team is intentionally global. The output is intentionally sharp.

The reach extends far beyond the twenty-four. London Baithead's audience, the creators we've built relationships with over a decade, the network of photographers, producers, sound engineers, and editors we've collaborated with along the way. When a brand hires Baithead Studios, they hire access to all of it.

Every brief is run by people who care about the outcome more than the contract. The team has been chosen for taste first, distance second. When a brand hires Baithead Studios, they hire a group of people who treat the brand like their own.

Brands that profit from people getting sick

This isn't a marketing position. It's personal. Gambling ruins families. Alcohol ruins more. We want the work we put into the world to make the audience healthier, sharper, and better off, not poorer, foggier, and addicted.

If you run a brand in those industries and you found yourself on this page, no hard feelings. We hope you find the right partners. We're just not them.

The door is wide. It just isn't open to everything.

Now the work

You've heard the why.
Here's what we do with it.

Most about pages end with a pitch. Ours ends with a door.

Some readers will hire us.
Others will quote us at dinner.
Both of those work.
